Free Short Stack At IHOP
I don't think it's unreasonably snobby to observe that there are a lot of reasons why someone might go to the International House of Pancakes even if they did not consider it to be the pinnacle of breakfast dining. Reasons like price, convenience, ample parking, and the fact that they are not allowed, legally, to kick you out, no matter how drunk you are. Well, for tomorrow at least, you can add "free pancakes" to that list, because in honor of National Pancake Day, every IHOP in L.A. is giving away one free short stack per customer, all day. All they ask in return is that you consider giving a small donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. That generous spirit seems to be working, too– since they started this yearly promotion in '06, they've raised $8 million.
