We know, but the reason cliches exist is they're true and commonplace. Don't scoff, a simple idea like this shouldn't be overlooked and that fact is meeting a cutie at a coffee shop is easier than you think. We know this from first-hand experience and those of our friends who have made several connections from hanging at their local caffeine haven. With communal tables or nice sunny patios, these trendy coffee shops are the perfect place to strike up a conversation with someone new - and in a sober environment conducive to relaxed, casual conversation where you don't have to shout over a thumping bass.
In addition to the setting, coffee shops also offer the possibility of drawing like-minded folks with similar interests and/or tastes. After all, you did choose the same coffee shop at the same time. So don't be shy, tap the guy reading next to you and you never know what his story may be.
