Electric Dusk Drive-In
[Photo via] Located in the heart of Downtown L.A., the Electric Dusk Drive-In takes you back to those classic days of drive-in movie theaters with an amped up, edgy vibe that only hip Downtown kids could conceive. Being able to cruise up to this parking garage structure and watch a movie out of the comfort and privacy of your own car is something that many of this generation just didn't get growing up. So take a ride onto Nostalgia Avenue and take that cutie you've been crushing on to the drive-in. For all of you who may choose other forms of transport, there is comfy Astroturf seating in the front as well. Plus, they kick up the old school vibe with a Snack Shack that offers hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers and a wide variety of candy, chips, beverages, and their specialty: locally made Giant Brownie Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies, yummy. Oh, and Snack Shack Carhops are there to bring the goods right to your front seat. Now that's some serious 50s-style service. Price: $10 advance online. $13 at the door (cash). Purchase tickets HERE. Upcoming Screenings: Office Space, 6/22; The Princess Bride, 7/13; E.T., 7/27; Little Shop of Horrors, 8/3; Minority Report, 8/17; Vertigo, 8/31; go HERE to see the complete schedule of screenings.
