Though Comic Con is notorious for its insane lines and chaotic hallways, there are plenty of off-site events that still give you a chance to geek out while soaking up that San Diego sunshine. Make sure you check out a couple of these cool happenings out and around the convention center!
Assassin's Creed Jackdaw Pirate Ship
When: Fri-Sat, July 19-20, 10:00am - 7:00pm Where: 5th Avenue Pier (behind the convention center) Why: Ubisoft is pulling out all the stops for the next installment of their hit Assassin's Creed video game franchise. To immerse you in the new pirate-themed assassin world, they're bringing you a real-life three-floor pirate ship to explore and test out the game! [Details]
The Walking Dead Escape
When: Fri - Sat, Jul 19 - 20, 5:00pm - 10:00pm Where: Petco Park Why: The Walking Dead Escape may be your one and only chance to ever participate in a zombie vs. man obstacle course (at least, we hope so).
