Eat: Croft Alley

croftalleyGood things come in small packages — they’re even better when you get lost trying to find them (that’s how the saying goes right?) This place is a hidden gem and you’ll thank us when you’re finished. Michael Della Femina and his chef-partner Phuong Tran opened Croft Alley this year. It’s the perfect rustic hole-in-the-wall spot where you can eat great food made with quality ingredients. Try their house specialties: House Made Yogurt with Chlorophyll (yes, chlorophyll, this is LA after all) & their baguette sandwiches. PS: It’s true, Croft Alley can be hard to find but if you start at Alfred Coffee, go through Compartes Chocolatier and out the hallway towards Melrose Ave you made it to your destination. They even grow fresh produce on their patio. Location: 8428 Melrose Place Hours: Daily: 10am-5pm [Photo via @croftalley]
