Los Angeles Haunted Hayride
Griffith Park is surrounded in ghost sightings and tales, and it doesn't help that one of those stories involve a 150-year-old curse being placed on the whole land. The Old Zoo was even visited by a pet psychic who saw visions of big game cats becoming cannibals and other suffering animals (see more stories here). But you'll be walking on these same grounds in the 5th Annual Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, featuring a handful of attractions to keep you on edge through the night. Haunted Hayride: As you're driven through 25 minutes of spectacular haunted scenes, demons, monsters and ghouls creep and jump out from every corner to terrorize hayriders. The In Between: You will navigate through complete darkness and a low-lit lantern guiding your group through a haunted maze. Make the wrong turn and you'll come face to face with the unknowns lurking in the dark. It might be so terrifying that you'll have to pull the "I'm a baby" ripcord to be escorted out of the maze. Can you make it to the end? Purgatory: In between your haunted adventures, enjoy other entertainment, including "The Scary-Go-Round," House of Mirrors, live shows, psychic readers, plus food and beverages. Get a ticket and head to Griffith Park, and maybe you'll be able to see the ghost of Griffith J. Griffith on his horse. When: October 6 - October 31 Where: Griffith Park, Old Zoo 4730 Crystal Springs Dr. Los Angeles, CA, 90027 Purchase Tickets Here [Photo via]
