Our Favorite Live Music Venue: Hollywood Bowl
Obviously, our opinions are our own, and I can understand how you might disagree with other choices on this list, but if you don't love the Hollywood Bowl, there may actually be something wrong with you. How else could you not go crazy for this picture-perfect outdoor amphitheater nestled in the hills. While parking sucks, and some may prefer the Greek for its relative intimacy, the larger size of the Bowl means that there's bound to be a cheap ticket, and the BYO-Picnic philosophy of most shows means that you can plan a full evening of wine, food, and any kind of music you can think of. A perfect night at the Bowl is like a one-sentence rebuttal to any anti-L.A. argument a smug East-Coaster could possibly come up with.
