What kind of style are you going for with the B Sweet Dessert Bar?
With the store, I wanted to bring in more of who I am. I love the eclectic look, with the wood and the wrought iron. It started with the walls. Every single wall in this place I've touched, with my best friend and my family and everyone who's helped me build the store. Every little piece behind these walls has their name on it. Especially my dad. He passed away a year and a half ago. He’s kind of everywhere in the store, starting with the logo. His name was Angel. Whenever you see the angel logo either on the truck or anywhere on the packaging, it says dad on the wing. I remember loving this kind of look and he would make fun of me and say, “Where did that piece of furniture come from, a back alley?” Seeing it now, he would absolutely love it, so I’m going to have a special chair in here somewhere for him.
