8th Annual MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit
Where: Club Nokia Who Was There: Ann Wilson, Nancy Wilson, Jerry Cantrell, Steve-O, Heart, William DuVall, Neil Portnow, Sean Kinney, Moby, Billy Morrison, Duff McKagan, Mike Inez, Neil Lasher, Andrea Gross, Susan Holmes McKagan, Billy Idol, Steve Stevens, Bill Teuteberg Other Details: Alice In Chains, Heart, Billy Idol, Duff McKagan, Mark Lanegan and Moby all performed as part of the 8th Annual MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit concert. The MAP Fund, founded to help musicians struggling with addiction, is part of the larger MusiCares organization, conceived as a "safety net" for musicians and other members of the music community in need. Hosted by a now sober Steve-O, the event honored Alice In Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell and Sony Music executive Neil Lasher for their dedication and commitment to the MAP Fund and to helping those struggling with addiction. The event also included the official dedication of the DJ AM Memorial Fund, in honor of the late Adam Goldstein, which will help provide addiction recovery services to MusiCares clients.
