Other Details: As a way to stick it to the 1%-ers, LA partied with Jack Black and the Tenacious D, Fitz and the Trantrums, Elijah Wood, Rain Phoenix, Jaime King and Jason Alexander, to prove that the 99% can have a throw a bomb party, while still supporting their cause. All In For the 99% is an art and music activism group that wants to amplify the efforts to end Citizens United and bring attention to the necessity of campaign finance reform. The multifaceted day-long event started at 10:30 Saturday morning with SLAKE Magazine Readings, Funny or Die short film screenings, DJ sets by
Moby, and The Embassy, and was hosted in a gallery space with work from 80 artists such as Retna, Gia Coppola, Shepard Fairey, Neck Face, Robbie Conal and HEARTSCHALLENGER lining the walls.
