Last Night's Parties: Nicole Richie & Alexander Wang Celebrate Ryan Korban's New Book, "Luxury Redefined" & More!

Other details: On Friday, August 1st, a launch party was thrown for NY-based interior designer Ryan Korban in celebration of his new book Ryan Korban: Luxury Redefined. The party took place at Curve in Beverly Hills, owned by Nevena Borissova who helped host the launch party. The DJ played rap & hip hop hits which interestingly enough meshed perfectly with the boutique's high fashion. L.A. notables, including Alexander Wang and Adam Levine's new wife, Behati Prinsloo, casually made their way across the space to mingle with one another. Even Britney Spears made an appearance to show her support for Ryan, chatting with a few people and mostly keeping to one corner of the venue. Ryan's new book is a collection of his work which highlights the bridge between fashion and interior design, showcasing what modern luxury really means. We had the chance to ask Ryan just a couple of questions. GofG: Let's talk about this party! What brings the celebration to LA? Ryan Korban: We threw a party in New York. I wanted to do something out in LA, and I've worked in LA before. I have a lot of collaborators and friends out here, so we thought we would throw a party in Los Angeles as well. GofG: What are you looking forward to with the release of this new book? Ryan Korban: I think maybe just trying to get people a little more excited about interior design. Maybe people who weren't excited about it before, or thought it was reserved for an older clientele or wealthier one, will realize that it is something that everyone can get excited about!
