Rock Of Ages world premiere. Shankman's
movie version of the musical Rock of Ages ambitiously attempted to combine being cool to a nether world of nostalgia bars, and he does it pretty well; sure it's silly, but the stars are big enough, and the musical numbers are well executed and charming enough that we wouldn't bet against this musical doing some seriously big numbers at the box office.
