The backyard vineyard may never produce much in the way of fine wine (when's the last time you heard about an excellent wine from freaking Bel Air?), but at least it should provide some poolside nibbles. Honestly though, why is owning a vineyard such a trendy thing for celebrities right now? Of all the vanity hobbies that are unlikely to pan out, isn't it far more productive to record a rap single or buy a minority ownership stake in a sports team? You're rich, you can buy the best wine in the world. Leave it to the pros.
