The seaside, no frills shack that is Malibu Seafood has been serving up crustacean and fish dishes since 1972 and has always been owned and operated by commercial fisherman. If you're looking for table service, you best try elsewhere as Malibu Seafood patrons wait in a line (usually out the door but it moves really quickly!) to order, grab a table outside where they'll wait until their number is called over the loudspeaker to go claim their food on a plastic tray from the service window. With an oceanfront Malibu patio, this spot is the perfect place to stop and fill up on some of their famous hand battered Alaskan Cod with homemade tartar sauce after that twisty, and beautiful drive up the PCH or a lazy beach day.
