This family run coffee shop on Pico is proud to call itself a neighborhood cafe. And as such, the space at Paper or Plastik fervently adheres to the family's philosophy that a neighborhood cafe should provide not only food and coffee, but also companionship and conversation. The brick walls, wide panel windows, and communal tables offer just that, creating a homey and inviting environment. You can spend the entire day here starting with their eco-friendly, excellently sourced coffee and in-house baked goods (Sage, Gruyere + Sea Salt Croissants or Pistachio-Kumquat Croissant anyone?), lunching on a daily market salad, or dining on bucantini and clams.
