Food+Lab
This is definitely a restaurant, not a coffee house, however this is about coffee and Food+Lab's is righteous. I stumbled into the West Hollywood location one day by accident in need of caffeine on my way to a store which I had to park several blocks from and found myself in a tiny gem of a spot with great coffee. Though the food verges on the pricier side, their sandwiches are delicious. Coffee to-go is served in the traditional take-out cups, but if you're having it there it will come piping hot to your table in a bowl. The restaurant features a quaint little patio in back, and there is also some designated parking behind the building which is always a good selling point. Though if it weren't for the consistently terrible parking situations of L.A., I might never have discovered this place.
