Kicking off the fall season with the ever-present Moby, we’ve had our ears tuned in to his new album, Innocents. Moby implements a new change in his sound by adding the vocals of a variety of relatively known singers such as Mark Lengan, The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne, Cold Specks, Skylar Grey, and Damien Jurado. Known as a controversial activist in spirit, with his environmental and vegan advocacy, and sound, with his fusion of ambient sounds, rapid disco beats, and distorted guitars, Moby is an unpredictable force.
