You can find hints of Prince and Michael Jackson bursting through his vocals (and dance moves), as well as the electro-pop musicality of MGMT and Phoenix seeping through his tracks. Mix that in with his Korean, Japanese, and Mongolian roots and his summa cum laude degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Arabic, and you have one eclectic artist. Refusing to release his birth name, you'll only know him as Jhameel, and you can find him performing at The Troubadour this Wednesday.
