Cayucas @ Troubadour
These Santa Monica-based guys (can you spot the twins?) used to call themselves Oregon Trail Boys, then changed their name to Cayucas after the seaside town of Cayucos, California. To match their namesake, their music features warm, light guitar melodies and soft drums for the beachy, laid-back sound on their debut album, Bigfoot, released earlier this year. It may be a bit too chilly to lay out on the sand and dive into the waves, but you can still relive the summer vibes with them this Friday at The Troubadour.
