I know we just lectured you for a while on not wearing unnecessarily hot clothing, and it might therefore seem like open footwear would be an easy way to stay cool. Let me be very clear that this is not, at all, the case. Closed-toe shoes are a
necessary sacrifice to the heat, unless you want your feet to end up looking like this guy's. Just think about it: when Rusko finally drops the beat after teasing the crowd for a minute and a half and everyone starts stomping like a pack of drunken wildebeests, you're seriously going to want some protection on your little piggies. Nothing puts an end to a weekend of hedonistic fun faster than a quick trip to the ER and a walking boot.
On the same tip, don't wear shoes you're overly attached to: it gets dusty as all hell out there, and your shoes are probably going to look like you dragged them behind your car all the way home from Vegas by the end of the weekend.
