The Raveonettes
Indie rock boy-girl duos are generally pretty chic, especially when they're European and this certainly applies to The Raveonettes of Denmark. Their musical noise rock style draws heavy influences from the Jesus and Mary Chain, Sonic Youth and The Velvet Underground with a twist of contemporary electronic. The band celebrates their tenth anniversary this year so expect to hear a mix of old favorites and new tracks off their sixth studio album, Observator, released just last month at tonight's show.
