Grizzly Bear
Having seen Grizzly Bear in concert once before at the Hollywood Bowl, I can tell you first-hand they put on an excellent live performance and don't need lighting and special effects to captivate a large crowd at an outdoor venue, just their instruments and mesmerizing, melodic vocals. If you're into their sound or indie rock in general, they happen to be playing what I feel is L.A.'s best live music venue this week with a show at The Greek. It doesn't get much better than seeing a show there surrounded by the foliage of Griffith Park and I'd imagine Grizzly Bear, currently on tour promoting their latest album, Shields, released last month, would complement the setting perfectly.
