Why: Morbid curiosity? On the one hand, after spending the last 10+ years doing his über-pretentious, mainly inexplicable Space Jesus routine, it's nice to see Billy Corgan playing the songs we actually like again. On the other hand, it seems that he's basically figured that as long as he has an Asian dude, a chick, and a guy who looks like a crackhead in the band, we won't notice that they're not actually the original members of Smashing Pumpkins. Still, if you owned a ZERO t-shirt in 7th grade like 50% of people my age, you can't say you're not intrigued.
