With the sun out shining, the Make Music Pasadena 2012 festival went off without a hitch on Saturday. The free Downtown Pasadena celebration of music took over the quaint L.A. suburb for a full day of live shows at absolutely no cost. Between six large outdoor stages and dozens upon dozens of smaller outdoor and indoor music venues set up inside the area's shops and restaurants for the annual event, there was no shortage of entertainment to keep the crowds busy. Lasting from 11am to 11pm, this year's Make Music Pasadena full-day lineup featured some especially exciting up-and-coming artists who played the larger stages including Dengue Fever, Grimes, Cults and Grouplove.
