The fifth annual Sunset Strip Music Festival kicked off Thursday night with an all-star tribute show to The Doors featuring the band's surviving members at the House of Blues. From there, it was a full weekend of day-to-night non-stop rock, and even some hip-hop and electronic live jamming on Sunset Strip. The legendary drag with what is probably the richest history of debauchery for any two-mile stretch on the planet was blocked off from Doheny to San Vicente for the event. Between two large outdoor stages and venues like The Roxy and Whisky A Go-Go, the weekend was packed with performances by everyone from Marilyn Manson, Mickey Avalon, and Bad Religion to RZA, Steve Aoki and Far East Movement.
