For eager Westsiders, one gets the feeling that much of the fun came simply from having big name music playing on this side of Doheny. HAIM at the Santa Monica Pier notwithstanding, that really just doesn't happen all that much, and having fun in Century City is pretty much unheard of unless you're watching The Avengers or buying an iPad or something.
