Little Dragon @ El Rey Theatre
With a rumored spring 2014 album underway, female-fronted electronica act from Gothenburg, Sweden returns to the El Rey. Little Dragon, a paradoxical name in itself, is known to be a double entendre. Swedish-Japanese singer, Yukimi Nagano, has a small yet fiery voice, able to resonate through into their sharp, indie electronic beats. Their most recent album, Ritual Union, peaked to number 4 for Billboard's Top Electronic Albums chart, and 25 for Billboard Singles' Heatseekers Songs chart. An evening filled with indie-tronica, synth-pop, and neo soul, this will definitely be a machine-like reverie you won't want to miss.
