On the official Park[ing] Day website map, people have announced their intentions to create parks everywhere from Santa Clarita to Long Beach. As this will be the fourth year of Park[ing] Day LA (the concept originated in San Francisco in 2005), the largest turnout to date is expected. In other words, a good day to leave the SUV at home.
