Turkey Trot LA
Run (or walk) a 5k or 10k in Downtown L.A. for their annual Turkey Trot. There's also a "Widdle Wobble" half mile kid run or walk. You will be supporting the L.A. Regional Food Bank, and you can also bring 1-10 cans of non-perishable canned food items, start your own fundraising page, and make an online donation or bring your donations to the event. Earn your guilt-free plate of Thanksgiving seconds as you get your morning run in for a very worthy cause. Dana Point 36th Annual Turkey Trot
Organized by the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce with Run Racing, Inc., the Dana Point Turkey Trot is coming up on its 36th year. You can head to the 5k, 10k, a combo 5k/10k, or the Kids Gobble Wobble. Proceeds will go towards The Boys & Girls Club of Capistrano Valley, Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group, Family Assistance Ministries, Veterans of Foreign Wars. La Canada Flintridge Turkey Trot
Rain or shine, you can participate in La Canada's turkey trot with a 5k run or walk, and a one mile kids run, and a food drive on Thanksgiving morning. You will be supporting La Canada Flintridge Community Center and their yearly programs. Bring non-perishable food items on race day and get your family together for a quick run or stroll on Route 66. Burbank Turkey Trot
Not only can you enjoy guilt-free plates full of turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes, but can also win a $250 cash reward for being the top male or female runners in each age group for the 5K and 10K races. Kids will receive ribbons, prizes, and a t-shirt for their 1K fun run. Support the Burbank Community YMCA and spend your morning going through Downtown Burbank.
