Roc-A-Fella Co-Founder Pleads Guilty To Massive Pot Ring
Then again, maybe Jay-Z should just focus on showing his daughter positive role models, because Roc-A-Fella records co-founder Kareem "Biggs" Burke, who started the label with Jay and Damon Dash in the 90s, just got popped for conspiring to distribute more than 100 kilos of weed nationwide. His plea deal means he's also going to lose his house, most of the cash officers found in his house, and his new BMW. Bummer, man. Biggs was busted as part of a federal sting codenamed "Operation Green Venom," which furthers my theory that all federal operations are named by 12-year olds. "Operation Fast and Furious?" Are you freaking kidding me? Even if that hadn't been the worst idea in the world, it would have been the worst idea in the world, you know what I'm saying? Anyway, tough break, Biggs, but you know what they say: you only really do two days. [via]
