At the start of December, New Yorkers flock down to Miami Beach in droves to get a little sun while experiencing some of the most profound new artwork in the world. The gathering has become one of the most exciting events of the year because of the artwork, but also because of the wild and unpredictable parties. This year the list includes a performance by Blood Orange at Ian Schrager's new EDITION Hotel, the 1 Oak Art Basel takeover, Aerosyn Lex Mestrovic's new installation with VH1 + SCOPE, and many more store openings, exhibit launches, and magazine parties.
