Animal Queendom
Stephen Starr’s Bal Harbour belle is a bit of a schlep from Mid-Beach, but one typically pays little to no mind when in a fancy Uber SUV full of staycationing starlets. Off to Le Zoo we go.
Faint chirps and the ever-echoing sound of clinking glasses welcome the crew with open arms, a festooned five-top awaiting beneath the patio’s lush trellis. If this is the embodiment of Parisian chic meets Miami flora, we’re not mad about it. Cue the tropical cocktails and colorful French dishes (and the swapping thereof) — THE STAYCATIONERS passed around tartare and paillard and trout amandine as if it were their second job. We suppose that’s not entirely far off. Back to the hotel for phase…we’ve lost count.
