Oprah Winfrey and Steven Spielberg have teamed up to produce the story told by Richard C. Morais in his book by the same name, about an Indian family who opens a restaurant across the street from a Michelin-starred restaurant in the South of France. Helen Mirren is totally believable as a chef who eventually takes the youngest in the family under her wing and teaches him the ropes. Filming has begun and is expected to be released sometime this summer.
