Steve Buscemi Is A Weird Dude
It was an evening of questionable treatment of child actors at the SAG awards last night. Before accepting the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, Steve Buscemi proceeded to grab each youthful cast member by the waist and hoist them into the air, as the poor, startled things flailed and, I'm sure, mentally reviewed the manhandling fine print in their contracts.
In a strange echo of this performance, the children of
Modern Family accepted the award on behalf of their cast, ensuring viewers that, after working the legal amount of hours per day, they are safely "put in our pens each night by sundown." At least they don't work with Steve Buscemi!
