John Digweed, DJ since 15, got his start playing at the 90s UK hotspot, Renaissance Club. He is thought to have started the house music trend in the UK with his popular sets at various clubs around England. He gained international fame when NYC clubs requested him to play sets at clubs like Twilo. The 2001 issue of DJ Magazine voted John Digweed as #1.
