Today, Twitter announced a new pilot program that will allow developers, media and content services, and consumer device manufacturers to incorporate tweets from verified artists, like Kanye West, in to their applications. The first three programs partnering with Twitter are The Echo Nest, Gracenote, and Rovi.
This is how it will be broken down:
The Echo Nest: connects verified musicians to its Rosetta Stone service, allowing developers to integrate Tweets from recording artists in to their application.
Gracenote: integrates verified musicians and even actors into its database of music and video information.
Rovi: provides digital home entertainment companies a way to incorporate Tweets straight from verified musicians into their application. [via]
