1. Vocal legend, Etta James, dies at 73.
A mix of R&B, gospel, and the blues, Etta James signed to to Chess Records in 1960. Her most notable songs are "At Last," "All I Could Do Is Cry," and "Tell Mama." She died at 73 due to complications with her battle with leukemia. [Rollingstone]
