Indie vets of DFA records, Holy Ghost!, are products of electronic music in NYC. DFA is the infamous label of LCD Soundsystem and also has Yacht, The Crystal Ark, Dan Bodan, Factory Floor, Marcus Maar, and Sinkane on their roster. Alex Frankel and Nick Millhiser, the founding members of Holy Ghost!, met in elementary school on New York’s Upper East Side. Their music is directly influenced by the city’s evolving electro scene and are a household name for disco.
