6. Rolling Stone partners with Belvedere to launch new music app. The music app will offer music news updates in real time and feeds directly from Rolling Stone's website. The app can be customized for each user, allowing for push notifications of their favorite artists. On the app, David Kang, Chief Digital Officer of Wenner Media says,
“Our audience is now using mobile for everything, and so we have created a convenient and personalized way to receive the latest Rolling Stone music news, videos and photos. From exclusive breaking music news, to new concert dates, to streaming artist performances, our audience will be constantly connected to Rolling Stone’s coverage of the music world and their favorite artists through this new app.”
The app is available to download for free on iTunes now.
