9.The Essence Festival concludes in New Orleans. The Essence festival is all about R&B and Soul music and what better place to host than New Orleans? This year artists performing included, Trey Songz, Mary J. Blige, Charlie Wilson, Aretha Franklin, and Chaka Khan.
