1. Nicki Minaj refuses to perform at Hot 97's Summer Jam. Before introducing Kendrick Lamar, Hot 97's DJ Peter Rosenberg made a comment saying,

"I know there's some chicks here waiting to sing 'Starships' later, I'm not talking to y'all right now. F--- that bullsh--. I'm here to talk about real hip-hop sh--."

Once Lil Wayne heard about the diss, he took to Twitter, making the executive decision that YMCMB would not be taking part in the concert. Nicki's set was supposed to include Nas, Lauryn Hill (the special surprise), DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, Ace Hood, and even Weezy himself; however, only Nas and Lauryn Hill made an appearance. Tyga was also the only YMCMB artist to perform. Last night, she and Funk Master flex had a heated conversation over the radio about the situation and at the end Nicki promised to host a free concert for all of her fans. But wouldn't have been a bigger diss to Rosenburg if she just completely shut down the concert with a killer performance? *Le sigh*
