3. Kanye West premieres much anticipated video for "Lost In This World." Featuring Bon Iver, the track is supposed to be featured on Ye's fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The video, pre-warned to induce epileptic seizures, was directed by Ruth Hogben and features West in a mirror-floored room and models dressed in white shirts living a paralleled sense of self-oblivion. The song is a political commentary on how America was corrupt from the start, referring to the British, saying she "was a bastard the illegitimate daughter of the mother country whose legs were then spread around the world and a rapist known as freedom, free doom." The foundation of colonialism has lead America to become a place where capitalism rules and leaving us to question, "Who will survive in America?"
