Blur to Headline Olympics Closing Show
2. British pop band, Blur, will be headlining the Olympics closing show.
The 2012 Olympics closing show will be held in London's Hyde Park August 12, 2012. The event is also featuring performances by New Order and the Specials, while displaying a highlight reel.
Tonight, Blur will be receiving the "Outstanding Contribution to Music" award at the BRIT Awards, or the American Equivalent to the Grammy Awards, in London. [Rollingstone]
