Slide #5

5. Here's the lowdown on the much anticipated Flaming Lips collaborative album to be released on Record Store Day 2012 (April 21st): Titled The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends, it will be released in a very limited edition for one time only, each copy with its own unique design. Described as a "series of unique and experimental sessions," the album is a compilation of the band's collaborations with artists like Bon Iver, Erykah Badu, Nick Cave, Yoko Ono, Neon Indian, Prefuse 73, Tame Impala, Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Lightning Bolt, Biz Markie, New Fumes, Chris Martin, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and... Ke$ha?! Whoa there, I was going to let the Chris Martin of Coldplay part slide, but I can't not give a big WTF to Ke$ha. Are they for real about that?? [RollingStone] [Photo via]
