Katy Stone, Other World
Seattle-based artist Katy Stone suspends shapes in time and space in order to evoke organic states of being. Utilizing hand-painted cuts of aluminum as well as Dura-Lar, an archival acetate, Stone creates wall installations which examine the multiplicity of nature, specifically clustered to depict a greater image of elemental phenomena and transformation.
