Bad Girls of 2012
Feeling naughty? Check out "Bad Girls of 2012," a group exhibition opening this Saturday at Interstate Projects. Gina Beavers, Rachel de Joode, Dora + Maja, Jamie Felton, Rebecca Gilbert, Denise Kupferschmidt, Narcissister, and Amy Yao explore what it means to be a "bad girl" in the 21st century, pushing limits in ways only an artist can. The exhibition is modeled after the controversial 1994 exhibition at New Museum, "Bad Girls," which showcased artists' engagement with feminism.
