Courtney Love, "And She's Not Even Pretty"
America's favorite Hole singer (and
Guggenheim presenter!),
Courtney Love, debuts her talents as a visual artist in "And She's Not Even Pretty," an exhibition of 45 drawings at Fred Torres. Through watercolor, pastel, and colored pencil, Love draws semi-autobiographical portraits of women as sinners and saints. Naturally, drawings come complete with poetry, song lyrics, and heartbreak.
