Chuck Close
You know what they say: paint who you know. New works by Chuck Close, known for his portraits of high-profile friends, will be unveiled at Pace Gallery, and will include never-before-seen portrayals of Cindy Sherman, Paul Simon, Kara Walker, and Philip Glass. The exhibition also marks the East Coast debut of a portrait of Paul Simon, and tapestries of Lou Reed and Roy Lichtenstein.
Opening: Thursday, October 18, 6-8pm
