Jon Mulhern, Intuitive Details
Seventeen of Jon Mulhern's newest pieces, including paintings and sculptures, will be on display at the artist's love letter of an exhibition inspired by the Hamptons.
Intuitive Details takes its name from Mulhern's experience of reconnecting with the raw details of the natural world after moving to Bridgehampton to take a position as an art teacher. The works incorporate mixed media and textural details in order to emulate the East End's expansive landscape. According to Mulhern,
“There is something deeper in the soil of this place and I try to reflect that in my artwork.”
There will be an opening reception on May 11, from 5 to 9pm
