Erika Vogt, Stranger Debris Roll Roll Roll
Beginning June 5, the New Museum will be presenting the first-ever solo museum presentation of Erika Vogt's work. The Lobby Gallery will be transformed into a "surreal landscape," as cast plaster and found objects float in the air as if they've been frozen in time after an explosion. The multimedia piece will also feature three videos created by the artist, playing against each other and thus adding to the chaotic cacophony of the debris-filled room.
